DETAILED ITINERARY

1 Night 2 Days

Chilika Lake is Asia's largest blackish water lake spread over an area of 1100 sq.km. This lake was declared a sanctuary in 1987.Thousands of migratory birds flying in from far off as Siberia to make their winter home in strange waters. Chilika lake is a paradise for bird watchers where they can watch the white bellied sea eagle, the grey legged geese, the flamingoes, purple moorhen, jacana and heron and many more birds. Boating and fishing facilities are available in this lake. A traveller can make use of the motor launches for crushing and visiting the near by islands.

There are several island in Chilika lake such as Barkul, Balugaon, Rambha, Satapara( famous for dolphins ), Nalbana and Kalijai island. At Kalijai island Goddess Kalijai temple is located. The Nalbana island has been declared a sanctuary. Anumber of climbers, twinners and herbaccous ground flora are found in the lake's island. Also a wide variety of animal life representing various groups of animal kingdom are found here.

A large species of fishes and prawn, crabs, snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles and Dolphins are recorded in this lake area. The surrounding hills, snady beaches, beautiful views of sun set and sun rise make the Chilika lake a real paradise for travelers.

Day 01

move to satapada from puri after breakfast. Take a boat and move to one of the islands inside the lake. Enjoy the jungle, lake and have delicious fresh crabs, prawns and fishes made by our chef. Go to the sea mouth for a evening walk. Comeback to the island and stay overnight in the tent.

Day 02

early morning come back to satpada by boat. Drive to Dhemirisena, a traditional orissan village to watch a classical Dance show, known as Gotipua Dance, Have delicious Lunch in the village Temple. Evening Back to puri.

DETAILED ITINERARY

6 Night 7 Days

Day 01 | Bhubaneswar - Similipal Park

After arriving at the Bhubaneswar , you will be escorted by our representative to the Similipal National Park. Declared as a national park in 1973, Similipal National Park is located in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Known to conserve the endangered tiger species in Odisha, Similipal National Park is a great place to explore during your Wildlife Tour of Odisha. After arriving at Similipal, check in at the lodge and have dinner along with an overnight stay.

Day 02 | Similipal Park

Post breakfast at the lodge, move on for a sightseeing tour of the two most spectacular waterfalls in Odisha, namely, Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls. Have fun on picnics at these waterfall sites. Spend the rest of the day as you wish. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in Similipal.

Day 03

Start the 3rd day at Similipal with a wholesome breakfast at the lodge. Then move on for a jungle safari to the Similipal National Park for game viewing and bird watching. Return to the lodge before evening and indulge in the recreational activities. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge in Similipal.

Day 04 | Bhadrak - Chandbali - Dangamal

Post breakfast drive to Chandbali via Bhadrak by jeep. After arriving at Chandbali, go for a motorboat cruise to reach Dangamal Island. While you are on your way, watch beautiful birds and the mesmerizing countryside. After arriving at Dangamal, check in at the forest rest house for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05 | Dangamal - Bhitarkanika Sanctuary

Having breakfast at the rest house, proceed to the Bhitarkanika Sanctuary. After arriving at the sanctuary, check in at the forest lodge. Then go for boat rides inside the wildlife sanctuary. Also visit the Olive Ridley Turtle nesting site located on the beach stretch in Bhitarkanika. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06 | Bhitarkanika Sanctuary - Bhubaneswar

Start the 6th day of your Wildlife Tour of Odisha with a wholesome breakfast at Bhitarkanika. Then head for Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. While you are on your way, do visit the prehistoric Buddhist caves of Ratnagiri, Udaigiri and Lalitgiri. After arriving at Bhubaneswar, check in at the hotel and move ahead on a sightseeing tour of the famous temples of the city. Visiting Lord Lingaraj Temple that marks the epitome of Kalinga School of architecture is a true soothing experience. Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

Day 07 | Bhubaneswar

Start the last day of Wildlife Tour of Odisha with a wholesome breakfast at Bhubaneswar. Then head to the airport to board the flight back home or to your further destination.

4 Night 5 Days

Day 01 | BHUBANESWAR-CHILKA LAKE-TAPTAPANI

After Breakfast proceed to Chilika Lake. The largest brackish water lake in the country. In winter it is a flutter with thousands of migratory birds as far as from Siberia. Continue drive to Taptapani enroute visit some unique south Orissan villages. Tapatapani a beautiful place surrounded by mountain & forest and a sulfur spring.O/N at Panthaniwas.

Day 02 | TAPTAPANI-RAYAGADA

After B/F drive to the Tibetan village chandragiri where you know the life style of tibetians. Arrive RAYAGUDA AND proceed to the Hotel at raygada.

Day 03 | RAYAGUDA-CHATIKONA-KORAPUT-JEYPORE (Must be a Wednesday)

In the morning proceed to Chatikona to visit the weekly tribal market of the Dongaria Kondh tribes. It is a colourful market and has a large gathering of Dongaria who comes down from the Nilayamgiri Hill. This tribes were famous in history once for their human sacrifice. The ladies are very well ornamented and the typical style of the dress & hairstyle of the man are interesting to watch. Later proceed to Jeypour enroute visit some Landia Paroja tribes & Villages. Arrive evening & checked in to Hotel.

Day 04 | JEYPORE-ANKADELI-BAIPARIGUDA-JEYPORE

Morning proceed to Ankadeli to visit the most primitive and interesting BONDA Tribe. Who comes once in a week for their weekly market down from the mountain, nearly 15-Km away.

Day 05 | JEYPORE-Kunduli- VISHAKHAPATNAM

Morning proceed to KUNDULI Market.The biggest weekly market of Paraja and Mali tribes. Paraja Tribes and drive to visakhapatnam and drop at hotel/airport/railway station.
